Client Feedback
"I cannot recommend Jon Waggitt and the team at SSCC highly enough, be it for everyday maintenance of your cherished classic, or full restoration of a barn-find historic racer. Jon is meticulous in his restoration and race preparation, whilst respecting the history and originality of all the cars he works on. In my case, Jon worked with me as advisor and specialist in the restoration of my first historic race car, a '69 Tecno F3 and a 1970 Tecno F2, then more recently as full nut and bolt restorer of a now very beautiful Lotus 51, much admired in its recent first outings in Historic Formula Ford.
Currently, Jon is undertaking another full restoration of a 1960 Cooper T52 Formula Junior that I imported from the USA in a sorry and less than original state. Jon has been painstaking in his research of originality and expert in his rebuilding of those chassis parts that had been modified over the years. The car will be one of the best restored and original out there competing in 2020.
Jon is also a racer, pragmatic in his understanding that such cars are there to be raced, but also very understanding in car set up appropriate to car and to driver ability! Without exception, I have got into a car that Jon has set up and found a confidence-building, neutral handling car that encourages immediate commitment and enjoyment."

Client Feedback
"I feel so lucky to have discovered Jon back in 2017 when I was looking for an expert to help with the rebuild of my very original 1960 Lotus 7 S2, which had been lying dismantled in a shed for over 40 years. Upon meeting him and being shown two other 7’s which he was working on at the time, his knowledge and expertise regarding all aspects of the marque were immediately obvious, and I was so pleased when he agreed he would take on the project to bring my car back to life again.
Thanks to all his skills, patience and close attention to detail, coupled with his unerring instinct for preserving originality and his meticulous care in refurbishing and/or sourcing any period-correct replacement parts, the finished car now on the point of emerging from his workshop is an absolute gem, and I really could not be more delighted.
Thank you Jon for your caring enthusiasm throughout our journey on this. What you have achieved is a masterpiece, of which you can be very proud and which I and my family will long treasure."
